Let's Play: Virtual Pro-Wrestling 64

Nintendo 64 wrestling gamers, we now know what Bret "The Hitman" Hart felt like at WWF Survivor Series '97. We were screwed! What the U.S. got as WCW Vs. nWo: World Tour is a jobber compared to its Japanese version; Virtual Pro-Wrestling 64. While the core gameplay is largely the same (barring some added moves), the features and content were vastly superior in VPW64. Dozens of knock-off American and Japanese wrestlers and legends, like Terry Funk, Giant Baba, Mitsuharu Misawa, Stan Hansen, The Road Warriors, and Andre The Giant all hit the cutting room floor of World Tour. On top of that, a basic wrestler editor was also omitted. What does all this lost content look like? Check out the debut episode of Palm Tree Beach's Let's Play to see what you've been missing.

NES Remix 1 & 2 Getting Physical Release As NES Remix Pack

Nintendo of America announced on Twitter that both installments of the NES Remix series will be bundled together for a physical release on Wii U as NES Remix Pack "this holiday season". NES Remix 1 & 2 were both released on the Nintendo eShop back in December and April respectively. No word on pricing yet.

First Look At The New, Less Patriotic, Wonder Woman

The first picture of Gal Gadot as the new Wonder Woman was released at the San Diego Comic Con today. Armed with a sword and clad in what appears to be brown leather, the new Wonder Woman could easily be mistaken for a new Xena: Warrior Princess. The color scheme is lacking the character's signature red, white, and blue patriotism.

While I like the overall look of the new costume, the missing "Stars & Bars" makes her feel more like a run-of-the-mill female super hero instead of the "hero of the hour, with her super powers". Hopefully, Gadot's performance in Batman Vs. Superman will make up for any appearance shortcomings. Either way, Lynda Carter, you'll always be the number one Wonder Woman in my book.

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd Release Date Possibly Leaked

If product listings on Best Buy's website are to be believed, Hatsune Miku's second tour of the U.S. will begin just in time for Halloween. The electronics giant is showing a release date of October 28th, 2014 for the teal-haired vocaloid's button-tapping music and rhythm game sequel. Other retailers, such as Amazon still show the original placeholder date of December 31st, 2014.

Ratchet And Clank Collection Coming To North American PS Vitas On July 29th

In another attempt to convince gamers that they really do care about their underdog portable, Sony announced Sunday that yet another HD remastered PlayStation 2 compilation is destined for North American PlayStation Vitas. Released in Europe a short time ago, the Ratchet and Clank Collection brings the first three games in the series to the Vita for on-the-go screw collecting goodness. Originally, the game was scheduled to drop tomorrow (the 22nd) on the PlayStation Store, but it got pushed back to the 29th. Details about a potential retail release have not been announced yet, but I wouldn't hold your breath. With the exception of the upcoming Freedom Wars, Sony hasn't been too keen on the idea of retail releases for first-party Vita titles lately.
